Every year, around this time, a pink spot catches the eye as you watch the famous “Mount Pleasant” logo from the subway, between St. Clair and Davisville.
Sunday morning, as I walk to get my coffee at Yonge and St. Clair, dozens of enthusiasts capture the two colorful marvels on their cameras.
To get there:
- subway to St. Clair and 5-minute walk, Northbound on Yonge
- subway to Davisville and 5-minute walk Southbound on Yonge
Famous pink trees by the Mount Pleasant logo - the pink trees are nice, but – to the left of the Mt.Pleasant logo – take a look at the biggest willow tree you’ve ever seen in your life. It’s in full bloom too, yellow grandeur
- if you take your time to explore this side of Mt. Pleasant cemetery, you may run into strange, fascinating, contorted trees like the one below
