Mircea Panzaru – a Romanian with a golden voice

Mircea Panzaru reciting his own lyrics (“Navigatorul”)

MUSIC played today  George Winston “Color Dance”  from LP Autumn (1980)

RUNNING TIME: 15 minutes

In the light of the  ‘homeless with a golden voice’ story, I offer you a mesmerizing voice that is yet to be discovered and promoted in the mainstream.

He knows English, but I will play him in Romanian, so you can focus on the voice rather than what he says.

Of course, if you understand Romanian, I trust you will be impressed by Mircea’s poem as well.

Mircea carefully picked the music to accompany his lyrics. It is not a background music, it is closely intertwined with the words and the voice delivery.  The music is by Polish film score composer Zbigniew Preisner (wiki and official) and is from the movie Damage (1992), directed by Louis Malle.
