In my world, today I was a King, no less than the top of the royals.
Think of it: two weeks ago I was in an office, 8 hours in front of a computer.
Today at noon I spent 2 hours surrounded by Picasso’s art in a quiet gallery.
Then, in the evening, I witnessed an intimate performance by essential artist Meredith Monk – waited for 21 years to see her live.
And in between I got to explore the streets of New York at my own pace.
Picasso, New York, Meredith Monk = king for a day.
Did I mention that I saw Picasso’s exhibit for free? And, on her way out, Meredith passed by me and gave me a smile? The perks of being a King…
