Nobody does it like Canadians: wine, pictures at an exhibition, cheese, August light, and donations for a good cause – all in one place.
The artist, Raz Van Constantine, is a childhood friend of mine and went through torture at the Romanian Revolution in December 1989: listen to this great interview with Raz by Canadian podcaster/photographer John Meadows.
He lost both his parents to stroke – he donates part of his photo sales to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
