I don’t trust Magazine Subscription offers sent in the mail.

Does anyone keep a track of yesterday’s ubiquitous technologies or marketing  losing their sense?

Fax machines.

Yellow pages.

Offers to magazine subscriptions in your mailbox…Physical mailbox. Paper offers.

Sorry, but I don’t trust the magazine-subscription offers that I find in my mailbox.

They ask me to put my personal information and credit card information into an envelope, and then mail them to a generic PO Box somewhere in the USA…or on the outskirts of Markham, Ontario. REALLY?

If this is phishing, it’s phishing at its worst.

It these are legit requests, they don’t keep up with our times, where information security is a serious concern. WHO IN TODAY’S WORLD SENDS CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO A P.O. BOX???
